Bathroom packages and bundles

Bathroom packages group items often replaced together, such as a toilet bowl, basin tap and shower set, so they are quoted as one job and fitted in one visit. There is no fixed package price: bundle prices are quoted per home, and the ranges below are typical totals from market prices.

How bundles work

What a package is

A package is a set of items quoted and installed together, for example during a bathroom refresh or before an elderly parent moves in. Doing several items in one visit saves repeat transport fees and lets the work be done in the right order. It is not a discount scheme: you get one quote that lists each item.

How the ranges are worked out

Each range adds the typical unit price of every item to the typical labour for fitting it, using published Singapore prices. Your quote depends on the models you choose, the condition of the existing pipes and fittings, and access. Ask for a line-by-line quote so you can swap items in or out.

Licensed work inside a bundle

Installing or changing a toilet bowl or an electric storage water heater must be done by a PUB Licensed Plumber. A new power point for a heater or electric bidet seat is work for a Licensed Electrical Worker. Taps, mixers, shower sets and grab bars do not need a licensed plumber.

Choosing items that work together

Check the pieces suit each other and your home. A rain shower needs enough hot water, so check the heater. A new toilet bowl must match your outlet. Taps and mixers must carry at least 2 WELS ticks, and water heaters must carry the SAFETY Mark.

What to send for a quote

Send photos of each item to be replaced, its model label if visible, your home type and roughly when you want the work done. Say whether you are supplying any items yourself. Mention any leaks, cracked tiles or slow drains you have noticed, because these change the scope.

Check what is left out

When comparing package quotes, check whether they include disposal of old items, new hoses and angle valves, sealing, and any hacking or tile repair. A low headline price that leaves these out can grow once work starts.

Checks for HDB, condo and landed homes

HDB

  • List every item you want changed in the bathroom, so one visit covers it all.
  • In a new flat, changing floor tiles voids HDB's 5-year ceiling leak warranty, so keep a refresh to like-for-like swaps.
  • If a senior lives with you, check EASE eligibility before paying privately for grab bars or a shower seat.
  • Renovation debris that chokes a WC or floor trap is cleared at the owner's cost, so ask for outlets to be covered.

Condo

  • Check MCST work hours and any notice or approval needed before booking a multi-item job.
  • Book the service lift if old bowls or heaters have to be carried out.
  • Note the brands of concealed cisterns and in-wall mixers so replacement parts match.

Landed

  • Group bathrooms by floor and decide which ones to do in the same visit.
  • Check the water heater can serve every bathroom in the package, especially if you are adding rain showers.
  • Ask how old items will be removed from site and how disposal is charged.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a fixed price for a bathroom package?

No. Each bundle is quoted per home because the models, pipe condition and access differ. The ranges on this page are typical totals to help you budget, not a set price or a promotion.

Can I supply my own items?

Usually yes, and labour is then quoted on its own. Make sure taps and mixers have at least 2 WELS ticks, water heaters carry the SAFETY Mark, and a new toilet bowl matches your outlet.

Do I need a licensed plumber for a bathroom package?

For parts of it. A toilet bowl or electric storage water heater must be installed by a PUB Licensed Plumber. Taps, mixers, shower sets and grab bars do not need one, and any new power point needs a Licensed Electrical Worker.

Can I add or remove items from a package?

Yes. A package is just a list of items quoted together, so ask for a line-by-line quote and change it to suit your bathroom and budget.

Is it cheaper to do everything in one visit?

It can save repeat transport or call-out fees, which are often $10–30 a visit when charged separately, and lets related work be done in the right order. The items themselves cost the same.
